POTSDAM -- The 2014-25 season of "The Met: Live in HD" continues Oct. 18 with Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro" at the Roxy Theater, 20 Main St.

The operas will be in high definition and digital surround sound at 12:55 p.m. on Saturday with an encore performance set for Oct. 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Met Music Director James Levine conducts a spirited new production of Mozart’s masterpiece, directed by Richard Eyre, who sets the action of this classic domestic comedy in an 18th-century manor house in Seville during the 1930s.

Bass-baritone Ildar Abdrazakov leads the cast in the title role of the clever servant, opposite Marlis Petersen as his bride, Susanna, Peter Mattei as the philandering Count they work for, Amanda Majeski as the long-suffering Countess, and Isabel Leonard as the libidinous pageboy Cherubino.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, $12 for students and $9 for youth. Purchase tickets through the Community Performance Series Box office, located in the lobby of SUNY Potsdam's Performing Arts Center, or at 267-2277 or http://cpspotsdam.org.
