HAMMOND – The Black River Valley Fiddlers' Association will hold a fiddlers' fling at the Hammond Fire Hall Sunday, Sept. 18 from 1 to 5 p.m. to benefit the Hammond Museum.
There will be round and square dancing and refreshments available throughout the afternoon.
During the day of the fling, there will be a drawing for a cedar lined blanket chest, handcrafted by David Mitchell of Hammond.
Tickets are available from historical society members and will be sold the day of the event.
In addition, there will be museum historical calendars and other items for sale at the fling.
The public is invited to attend the Fiddlers' Fling, at a nominal fee, to support the museum and enjoy an afternoon of fine music and dancing.
