CANTON — The Fiberistas quilt group will unveil their latest project at The TAUNY Center, a slice quilt depicting a sugarbush, on Saturday, Jan. 6, from 1-3 p.m.
TAUNY will host a Q&A with some of the quilters who participated in the project, followed by a reception.
The Fiberistas are a local group of quilters whose projects challenge them to experiment with new techniques and explore the potential of quilts as art.
Slice quilts begin with a photograph cut into slices.
Each slice is given to a different quilter to make.
Finished slices are brought back together to make a single image.
The center is located at 53 Main St.
