'Farmer Tom's Funny Songs and Stories' Sunday in DeKalb Junction

DEKALB JUNCTION -- "Farmer Tom's Funny Songs and Stories" will be presented free from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Meetinghouse Museum, 696 East DeKalb Rd., Sunday, June 7.

Tom Walsh will perform an afternoon of funny songs and stories for all ages. The singer and storyteller lets everyone join in the fun as he sings funny songs and tells funny stories about life on the farm.

Walsh is a graduate of SUNY Canton and has performed all across the country. He is especially known for his educational programs offered for school children and community groups.

This is the first in the DeKalb Historical Association’s Performance series. The series is made possible in part by the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York Council on the Arts with the support of Gov. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and Administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.

The Meetinghouse Museum is across from the Hermon-DeKalb school and parking is available at the school. The building is wheelchair accessible.
