CANTON – Canton-Potsdam Hospital and St. Lawrence County Public Health are co-presenting a panel and dinner event featuring experts on pandemics and bioterrorism Thursday, Aug. 11 at the Best Western University Inn, 90 East Main St.
“Pandemics and Bioterrorism – What You Need to Know,” will feature Dr. Chris Boiallis, director of the CPH pharmacy, safety officer Benjamin Grotto and representatives from St. Lawrence County Public Health.
Panelists will discuss the steps currently in place to ensure public healthy and safety during a natural or manmade health crisis.
The presentations are particularly intended for those who help their organizations plan for crises events, such as college personnel, school administrators, safety officers in business and industry, senior citizen advocates, insurance professionals and daycare providers.
