POTSDAM -- Expert weaver Cait Throop will host a weaving class at her home studio for the St. Lawrence County Arts Council 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2.

Students will hand weave a triangle scarf on a wooden loom and take home a completed scarf at the end of the day. Examples of Throop's completed triangle scarves may be viewed at etsy.com/shop/barefootweaver.

Throop’s studio is at 1850 County Route 35. The $110 cost for the all-day workshop includes all materials. Students should bring a bag lunch. Note color preferences when registering.
