POTSDAM -- A new art exhibit will open at the St. Lawrence County Arts Gallery, 51 Market St., Saturday, May 18 from 4 to 6 p.m.
The exhibit includes work by five Potsdam-based artists who received grants toward their art businesses in 2012. Sara E. Lynch creates “Planter Pets;” Leigh Chapman of HeartFirst Greetings offers cards, invitations, and other custom work; and Isaac Snell of Isaac Jude Pottery creates ceramic wares.
Tim Damon of Damon Drums designs and builds custom snare drums and drum sets; and Christina Adams of Blue Frenzy Wearable Art creates jewelry from melted recycled glass, gears, cogs and other spare parts.
