MADRID -- The Madrid Hepburn Library, 11 Church St., will offer seven sessions of “Every Hero Has A Story Summer Reading Program” for ages 4 to 12.
A representative from Watertown’s Science Tech Museum will conduct experiments and make demonstrations Tuesday, July 7 at 4:15 p.m.
On Monday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to noon a U.S. Army Sergeant, and a nurse will be stopping by.
A U.S. Army Sergeant will stop by on Tuesday, July 14, from 10 until 11:30 a.m. From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. a St. Lawrence County Sheriff Deputy and his K-9 unit will be sniffing around.
The Madrid Rescue Squad and Fire Department will bring a fire engine, ambulance, and host water games, weather permitting, Wednesday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to noon.
On Thursday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to noon the local animal shelter and a woman who fosters cats will visit.
The American Red Cross will visit the library on Friday, July 17, from 10 a.m. until noon.
