OGDENSBURG – Impersonator Joe Angerosa will present “An Evening With Elvis” from 7 to 10 p.m. May 26 at Lockwood Arena on New York Avenue.
Angerosa has been described as “the best sounding Elvis impersonator this side of the Mississippi.”
The concert is sponsored by the Volunteers for American Veterans of AmVets Post 1997 and the Ogdensburg Parks and Recreation Department. Money raised will benefit the Syracuse Veteran’s Hospital Volunteers for American Veterans, which has just opened a new unit and is need of a number of pieces of equipment.
Singer-songwriter Kaitlyn LaShombe of Heuvelton will perform from 6 to 7 p.m. before Angerosa’s appearance.
Angerosa has performed more than 1,000 times throughout the United Stated during the past 30 years. He also performed in the Atlantic City based production, “The Hollywood Superstars” directed by show business veteran Bob Curtis which appeared for eight weeks at Turning Stone Casino.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. They are now on sale at D & K Restaurant, Seaway Shopping Center; Knights of Columbus Hall in Odensburg; VFW Post 2936 on Caroline Street; AmVets Post 1997 in Heuvelton.

Those attending the concert should bring a chair.
