CANTON -- St. Lawrence University Viebranz Visiting Prof. Mark Slouka will speak and read from recent work Thursday, April 26, at 8 p.m. in the Common Room of Sykes Residence Hall.
The event is free and open to the public.
Slouka's 2010 book, “Essays from the Nick of Time: Reflections and Refutations,” won the PEN/Diamonstein-Spielvogel Award for the Art of the Essay, for "a book of essays that exemplifies the dignity and esteem of the essay form."
