CANTON -- The next meeting of the Environmental Management Council will be Wednesday, July 19, at 6 p.m. in the second-floor conference room of the Public Safety Complex, across Court Street from the Courthouse.
The public is welcome to attend.
The speaker will be EMC member Ryan Burkum, owner and operator of Burkum Plant Health and Tree Care (http://www.burkumtreecare.com).
He will give a presentation on Japanese knotweed, and discuss his work with the Regional Inlet Invasive Plant Program (see http://www.noknotweed.org/index.html).
