MASSENA -- ANCA's 2017 Annual Meeting, "Pioneers of the New Economy," will be Friday, Sept. 22, from -4 p.m. at the Massena Neighborhood Center, 61 Beach St.

The meeting will focus on the successes and challenges that exist in the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and how new and veteran businesses are navigating them.

The cost to attend is $10 for ANCA members & students, or $25 for non-members

Meeting participants will gather in informal workgroups to focus on different stages associated with owning and operating a business in the Adirondack North Country, as well as a session lead by "social innovators" from around the region.

The growing list of innovative guest entrepreneurs includes ANCA members Randy Cross of Carpe Insectae and Pat & Kelli Curran of Curran Renewable Energy.
