EDWARDS -- String quartet Uprooted will perform at the Edwards Opera House, above the Edwards town Hall, 161 Main St., April 30 at 7 p.m.
They play Americana, folk, rock, old-time and bluegrass.
The band members are Millie Ammirati, CJ Jahncke, Rosemary Philips and Lenore Vander Zee.
Tickets are $10, $5 for ages 6-12 and free for under age 6. They will be available at the door at 6 p.m.
Other concerts planned at the opera house for the 2016 season: May 14 - Sweet Adelines and the Goldenaires; May 28 - All-star show, tickets are $15 and avialable at Wood’s Grocery in Edwards and Brick & Mortar Music in Potsdam; June 18 - Tas Cru and Mary Ann Casale; July 9 - Country jamboree; July 30 - NY-Texas Jazz Express with Larry Ham; Aug. 27 - The Hubcats and The Gathering; Sept. 17 – Northbound; Oct. 1 - Fiddle workshops and concert with Gretchen Koehler and Don Woodcock; Oct. 7 - The Trophy Husbands.
Showtimes are at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for all shows at 6 p.m.
Advance sale tickets are available through mail. Those interested can send a check payable to “The Edwards Arts Council, Inc.” to P.O. Box 241, Edwards, NY 13635. The tickets will be at the box office the night of the show.
