CANTON -- St. Lawrence University's history of ecology and environmentalism first-year seminar is holding an Earth Day 5K run/walk on May 1 at 4:30 p.m.
It will follow the Summer Sunset course at the intramural fields at the south end of campus, across from the football fields.
All who sign up will be entered in a raffle for prizes including gift certificates and donated items from the Brewer Bookstore, the Blackbird Cafe, Hot Tamale and more.
There is a suggested donation of $10, but it isn't required.
The first 15 people to sign up on the day of the event will receive a free T-shirt and after that, t-shirts will be given out to people who donate $10.
All proceeds will go to the Grasse River Heritage.
All are welcome.
