MASSENA – Windance will offer a class for kids five and older and adults Saturday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. to individually dye their own hand-woven cotton scarf.
Permanent dyes are used with no mess because the project is done in a bread bag.
Scarves are washed-out at home 24 hours later and hung to dry. This project and others can be seen at www.windance.org.
If a parent, or grandparent wishes to join in and paint along with the child, they may do so for the same "per person" fee.
All materials are supplied and no experience is necessary, just a love of art. Every participant leaves with a beautifully dyed scarf to call their own.
Call 705-7113 or 705-2098 to pre-register.
Windance is located at 345B E. Orvis St. in Massena.
