OGDENSBURG -- Joan Carlisle from Sunnybrook Farm, CR 28, will host a 4-H dressage clinic June 1 with 4-H youth and their families.
Carlisle has had several students perform well at the New York State Fair.
The clinic begins at 10 a.m. with an introduction to dressage. A demonstration ride will follow with a question and answer period. Lunch will be available.
Practice dressage with students’ own horses will be in the afternoon. A helmet and negative Coggins and rabies tests are required. All 4-H rules apply.
Those who wish to bring their own horses must contact the Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County office and register with Anita Morrill, 379-9192. Other participants are encouraged to register in any event, so lunch can be planned.
