POTSDAM — “Drawing Skills Weekly” will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on June 20 with Liza Labarge, at St. Lawrence County Arts Council, 41 Elm St. The class with a model will cost $20 for members and $25 for others.
The class with a model costs $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Ages 18 and up. Any skill level welcome. In this weekly drawing series, each class will cover different aspects of the art of drawing. Students may register on a class-by-class basis or for a full month long series depending on their preference.
Class topics include: still-life and photo-reference every first Monday of the month, gesture drawing with a clothed model every second Monday, drawing with color (soft pastels) every third Monday, and life drawing with a nude model every fourth Monday.
Materials: Bring your own supplies (chairs, tables, and table-top easels will be provided). Register: 265-6860.
