POTSDAM – The PEOF Neighborhood Pavilion Project will accept donations of gently worn, used and new shoes to help us raise funds for the organization from May 1-June 21 at Lawrence Avenue Elementary School.
Collected shoes are used to support micro-enterprise vendors.
Micro-enterprises are small businesses in developing nations.
They are typically operated by one person.
A drop off box for donations is located near the school’s main office.
Examples of new or gently used shoes include sneakers, boots, sandals, dress shoes or flip flops.

The campaign currently has raised $10,000 and needs $25,000 to purchase the pavilion kit.
