CANTON – Beginner and intermediate dog agility classes will be offered by the St. Lawrence Valley Dog Club Thursday evenings from Sept. 19 through Nov. 7 at the Canton Elementary gymnasium. The cost is $100 for eight weeks. Beginner classes will be held at 7 p.m. and intermediate classes at 8 p.m. Registration is Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Canton Elementary cafeteria. Bring proof of immunizations, but no dogs are allowed at registration. Registration is limited. Dogs must be under verbal control by the handler, be able to pay attention, and should be at least one year-old for the beginner class. Intermediate class requires permission of the instructor.
