MASSENA — Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley will host a free film screening and discussion of the PBS Frontline Documentary “Being Mortal,” Saturday, Jan. 28, from 1-3 p.m., at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 139 Main St.
The film, based on the best-selling book by Dr. Atul Gawande, explores the hopes and fears of patients and families facing terminal illness and their relationships with the doctors, nurses and family members caring for them.
