Jacy Good, the victim of a distracted driver, will share her story at several St. Lawrence County schools May 1 and May 2.
Good was injured in a car accident following her college graduation in May 2008.
Good and her parents were driving home when a driver, distracted by his cell phone, ran a red light and caused a multi-vehicle crash. Her parents were killed and she barely survived.
She is now a board member of FocusDriven, a group of advocates for cell-free driving.
Good will visit Edwards-Knox Central School at 10 a.m. May 1 and Potsdam Central School at 1:30 p.m.
She will visit Lisbon Central School at 9:30 a.m. and Hammond Central School at 1 p.m. May 2.
