POTSDAM -- The Flint Water Crisis will be the topic of a pre-commencement lecture by Clarkson University honorary degree candidate Marc A. Edwards on May 11.
Edwards, the Charles P. Lunsford Professor of Civil Engineering at Virginia Tech, will be awarded an honorary doctor of science degree at Clarkson's commencement, the next day.
"Truth-Seeking in an Age of Tribalism: Lessons from the Flint Water Crisis and its Aftermath" will be delivered by Edwards at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 11, in Bertrand H. Snell Hall Room 213 (#20 on the map at http://internal.clarkson.edu/about/clarkson_map.pdf).
A short reception will follow the lecture, which is free and open to the public.
