OGDENSBURG - The Dinner Murder Company of the Grasse River Players will present "The Kingsburg Claimant Affair" by Arthur Johnson at the Frederic Remington Art Museum, 303 Washington St., on Saturday, April 29, at 6 p.m.
In this plot, the people of a small New England town are alarmed when a descendant of the town's founder turns up from England with papers showing he owns every bit of land in the village.
At the town meeting, things go further awry when someone is discovered to have been murdered.
This fun, interactive theatrical experience allows the audience to mingle with the characters, ask them questions, and try to guess the culprit from among them.
Each potential culprit has their own motive.
Guests will submit their guesses with paper ballots.
At the end of the evening, the story will be resolved.
A drawing will be held from among the winning entries, and the winner will receive a mystery prize.
Museum members who buy tickets by April 4 will be entered in a drawing for a Remington canvas reproduction from the Museum Shop.
Light refreshments are included, and there will be a cash bar.
Tickets are $25 and may be purchased on the museum's website, fredericremington.org, or calling 315-393-2425.
