POTSDAM -- "Understanding and Working with Difficult Dogs" will be offered Sept. 26-27 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Potsdam Humane Society, 17 Madrid Ave.
The workshop will be lead by Elizabeth Carbone and is open to anyone. Topics will include body language of the difficult dog, physiology of aggression, training equipment, living with a difficult dog, and safe evaluation, handling, and management of difficult dogs.
Carbone is the owner of Dog Logic NY in Glens Falls and is a certified behaviorist and experienced rehabilitator of reactive and aggressive dogs.
The fee is $100 for auditing spots and $150 for working spots.
