POTSDAM – Democrats in the Village of Potsdam will caucus Thursday, Aug. 20 to pick candidates for village offices in the Nov. 3, 2015 election.
They will discuss possible candidates for mayor and two trustee seats beginning at 7 p.m. in the Civic Center Community Room.
All duly enrolled members of the Democratic Party who live in the village are eligible to participate.
Current Mayor Steven Yurgartis has announced he will not run again.
The terms of trustees Eleanor Hopke and Ron Tischler, both Democrats, are up at the end of this year.
