DEKALB JUNCTON -- The AmVets Post 11 will host several upcoming events featuring music, dancing and food in January.
Every Wednesday there are lunch and dinner specials from noon to seven. Each Thursday starting on Jan. 8 there will be an acoustic jam hosted by Dan Cole from 7 to 9 p.m.
On Friday, Jan. 9, there will be a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m.
Every Friday Karaoke with Larry will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Music and dancing with "Pure Country" will take place Jan. 10 from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.
There will be music and dancing with "Special Effects" from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on January 17 and on Jan. 23 the "Charlton Brothers Band" will perform from 9 p.m. to 1 p.m.
On Jan. 30 music and dancing with "New Buckskins" is planned from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.
