CANTON — A Caribbean-inspired fundraiser is being held for the Deep Root Center for Self-Directed Learning Thursday, Feb. 16, at 6 p.m. at the SUNY Canton Alumni House.
The event, “Feel the Heat,” will feature a dinner catered by Chef Deborah Burchell of Simply Caribbean and Trini Soul of New York City.
A silent auction will be held.
Tickets, available on-line at www.deeprootcenter.org, cost $65 for singles and $120 for couples.
