CANTON -- The Harvest Kitchen at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm, 2043 State Highway 68, is offering a four-part December Baking Series: Sweet and Savory, starting Dec. 5.
Every class features different techniques with recipes from around the globe.
Participants can sign up for one or more of the classes.
The first in the series is Mastering Pie Crusts with Quiches and Galettes on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The second offering is No Knead Bread: Delicious and Hearty Loaves on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Enjoy some global flavors with Empanadas: Flavorful Hand Pies on Thursday, Dec. 13, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The final class is Baking with Filo Dough: Baklava and Spanikopita on Wednesday, Dec. 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.
Each class is $20 and feature hands-on opportunities, samples and printed recipes to take home.
