CANTON -- Licensed pesticide applicators can earn DEC credits at a Cornell training on Thursday, Feb. 19.
The program includes a segment on tick management and another on species selection for turfgrass managers.
Participants will earn 1.5 NYSDEC pesticide recertification credits in categories 3a, 3b, and 10, plus 1 in category 8 and 0.5 in category 25.
Credits are also available from CNLP and LA.
The class runs from 4:45 to 7:15 p.m. at Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Learning farm in Canton. The cost is $10, which includes light refreshments.
