CANTON -- The Federated Sportsmen’s Clubs of St Lawrence County will offer a presentation to area clubs on the state of the deer herd in the North Country by Steve Heerkens, Region 6 DEC biologist.
The presentation is set for Tuesday, March 10 at 7 p.m. at the BOCES building, West Main St. (the old nursing home building). Any sportsmen’s club or organization from St. Lawrence County can attend at no charge for two representatives.
The club or organization must register prior to the meeting with Mark Brackett at 854-5563.
Heerkens will speak for 60 minutes about the deer herd and will field questions at the conclusion of the presentation.
