“Dead Men Tell No Tales?” will be the topic of conversation at the next Science Café.

Human bones found at archeological sites have the potential to provide anthropologists with a plethora of information about an individual, but they can also be contaminated by a microbial aggregate known as biofilm.

St. Lawrence University Anthropology Professor Mindy Pitre will explore the inner working of human bones and what can be lost when biofilm invades.

The café will take place at 7:15 p.m. April 16 in Canton at the Parkview, 107 Main St., and April 17 at the Civic Center in Potsdam.
