CANTON -- A “Day of Silence” retreat will be held Saturday, Aug. 29, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the home of Charlie Bradt at 85 Riverside Drive.
It will involve walking, sitting, resting, reading, napping and eating as each participant chooses at any time.
There will be a lack of talking and communication instruments.
There is no agenda other than spending time alone.
A mat or a cushion is optional.
Simple food and water will be supplied.
Participants will be offered a list of suggestions upon arrival.
The cost is $10, payable on arrival.
