CHIPPEWA BAY -- David Wells and the Gathering will return on July 28 to once again to perform their brand of folk rock music at the Chippewa Bay Community Club's Friday Evening Concert Series from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The show will take place in the backyard of the one-room schoolhouse at 1172 County Route 6, located next to the Chippewa Bay Post Office. Please bring a lawn chair. The concert is free to the public.
The fiddle-flavored group plays what feels good, sounds good, and is good in a non-genre way and wowed the crowd that attended their concert last year at the Community Club.
The Gathering is comprised of singer/songwriter David Wells, fiddler Amber Nezezon, drummer Michael Jadlos and longtime Northern New York musician Greg Jadlos. David, Amber, and Greg are all alumni of the Crane School of Music and that experience is reflected in their eclectic form of music.
This year’s concert series is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
