Crowell is an Adirondack watercolor artist with a specialty in fish and landscapes.
He draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the Adirondacks and from memories of fly fishing with his father.
He lives in Potsdam, but has traveled and studied in Africa, Europe and China.
He draws from traditions of Eastern art and the prehistoric art of Ice Age Europe in these paintings.
He has entered and won awards in several plein aire festivals and art shows.
There will also be a short public meeting after the reception.
Volunteers are always needed on an intermittent basis to help members keep The Gallery open.
Training will be provided.
