LISBON -- The Lisbon Central School administration will host three presentations with Dean O. White, an investigator with the Troop B Computer Crime Unit on Thursday, March 22.
This presentation will focus on topics of computer crime, internet and social media abuse, protection of personal information and online harassment/cyberbullying.
Students in grades 7-12 will meet with Mr. White in two separate presentations during the day, one for grades 7-9 and another for grades 10-12.
A third presentation is scheduled for parents and community members in the evening, from 5-6 p.m. This presentation is conveniently being offered prior to the grades 7-12 parent-teacher conferences being held in the big gym from 6-8 p.m.
Parents are encouraged to come for the computer usage and crime presentation from 5-6 p.m. and then head downstairs to pick up their students’ report cards and hold a conference with teachers.
