POTSDAM -- The Clarkson University Volleyball team raised nearly $300 for the Side-Out Foundation for breast cancer research in October, and the Golden Knights' team will continue beyond Breast Cancer Awareness Month, taking the drive into this weekend’s Liberty League championship series at CU and maintaining it through the winter.
The Clarkson Volleyball program will be selling t-shirts and water bottles during the Liberty League Championships this weekend at Alumni Gymnasium.
The Golden Knights play Vassar College at 5 p.m. on Friday, and Skidmore plays St. Lawrence University at 7:30 p.m. The conference championship game is set for 4 p.m. Saturday.
The few remaining t-shirts, available in black, are $12 each, and water bottles are only $1 each.
The Side-Out Foundation was established in 2004 to unite volleyball players and coaches and have them work toward the common goal of furthering breast cancer awareness, education and patient services.
