POTSDAM -- The Crane Symphonic Band will present a fall concert featuring works by modern composers Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hosmer Concert Hall at SUNY Potsdam.
Conducted by Director of Bands Dr. Brian K. Doyle, the Crane Symphonic Band is a large wind band. The concert will also feature David Pittman-Jennings, bass.
The concert will include Vincent Persichetti's "Serenade for Wind Band No. 11, Op. 85," Jukka Pekka Lehto's "The Legend of the Bells," Clifton Williams' "Symphonic Dance No. 3, Fiesta," John Philip Sousa's "The Invincible Eagle," Eric Whitacre's "October" and "Suite Française" by Darius Milhaud.
