POTSDAM -- Crane School of Music Professor Michael Schaff will open the 2015-16 Disciplined Inquiry in Education Seminar Series with a presentation at noon Wednesday, Sept. 9 in Satterlee Hall Room 300.
Schaff's presentation, "Back to School: Reflections of a Full Professor, Lifelong Learner," will look at the lessons the faculty member has learned, as he has gone back to earn his associate degree in veterinary science technology. The music education professor will discuss the new perspective the experience has given him on teaching styles, student life and more.
All seminar meetings will be offered on Wednesdays, in Satterlee 300 from noon to 1 p.m. These events are free, and the public is welcome.
