POTSDAM – The Crane Latin Ensemble will be the next featured performer of the 2nd Annual Ives Park Concert Series on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m.

The Latin Ensemble is a student group at SUNY Potsdam dedicated to bringing salsa to the North Country through a partnership with the Mambo Legends Orchestra.

For more information on the ensemble, log on to their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cranelatinensemble/?ref=page_internal.

The concert is free, family-friendly and open to the public. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket. There will be a bucket passed for donations, and all donations over $50 will be recognized in future reports and programs. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed.

The Ives Park Concert Series is supported by the graphic design work of Catherine LaPointe-Vollmer of LaPointe Illustrations and sound engineering by Marcus Alvarez of M.A. Entertainment.

The series would not be possible without the support of local individual and business contributors including series sponsors DMT Foam, Nikki Coates & Associates, Brick & Mortar Music, North Country Neighbors, Hampton Inn & Suites, all program advertisers, and Commercial Press Inc, who printed all posters and programs for the series. North Country Public Radio is media sponsor for the opening festival.

The series is also made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by SLC Arts.

What a Raquette Music and Dance, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to foster the cultural community of music and dance in the North Country. For more details about the organization and their programs visit whataraquette.org or their Facebook page, facebook.com/whataraquette.
