EDWARDS -- The Crane Faculty Trio will perform April 11 at 7 p.m. at Edwards Opera House, 161 Main St.
The concert features John R. Lindsey, distinguished violin professor for 44 years, with more than 30 years at the Crane School of music. He was also the winner of two Mozart awards and the 2002 International Musician of the Year award. He has performed all over the world.
Also performing will be Kenneth B. Andrews, musical director and conductor of the Orchestra of Northern New York and professor of flute at Crane. He has performed on flute with the Montreal Symphony as well across the U.S., Canada and Europe.
Carol Lowe is the third musician scheduled to perform. She is a worldwide performer and recording artists formerly with the Atlanta Symphony. She has performed and recorded at Carnegie Hall as well as in London, Paris and Munich. She is professor of bassoon at Crane.
The concert will include a collection of trios, duets and solo pieces by composers including Beethoven, Haydn, Mozart, Vivaldi and Telemann.
Tickets cost $12 for general admission and $8 for students.
