POTSDAM -- The Crane Brass Ensemble will offer a concert under the direction of James T. Madeja Thursday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall.
The concert will include works by Giovanni Gabrieli, Richard Wagner, Chou Wen-Chung, Fisher Tull and others.
The featured work is Anthony DiLorenzo's "Of Kingdoms and Glory," which musically portrays five medieval stories of knights, dragons and mystical powers.
Movement titles include "Fanfare and Victory Processional to Camelot," "Courtyard Dance and Merlin's Magic," "Guinevere and the Dragon's Lair," "The Contest and the Victory of the Black Knight" and "The Rescue and the “Battle of the Red Dragon."
Admission is free.
