A block from the “Courthouse Steps” quilt for the St. Lawrence County Historical Association’s 25th Antique and Artisan Show and sale quilt raffle.

CANTON -- The “Courthouse Steps” quilt will be raffled off Saturday, April 25, at McKenney Middle School, 99 State St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association’s 25th Antique and Artisan Show and sale.

The quilt, made of mainly Civil War era reproduction fabrics, was pieced by SLCHA member Nancy Lafaver of Lisbon. Tickets will be on sale at the show which is sponsored this year by Blanchard’s Auction Services, Potsdam, and Mort Backus & Sons, Ogdensburg.

Raffle tickets are $1 each, six chances for $5 and twelve chances for $10. Tickets are available at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association, 3 East Main Stand at the show.

The winning ticket will be drawn Sunday, July 26, at the SLCHA’s Civil War Weekend reenactment in Massena. Proceeds benefit the St. Lawrence County Historical Association.
