MADRID -- The St. Lawrence County Senior Council is sponsoring a county-wide picnic for all senior citizens on Friday, July 8, at the St. Lawrence Power and Equipment Museum, State Highway 345.
During the day there will be bingo, a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, demonstrations, info booths, museum tours, and an antique car show.
The St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging is providing a BBQ lunch for $3 for seniors ages 60 and over. The cost for guests under age 60 is $8. Some of political representatives will serve lunch.
Musical entertainment will be provided by the Association of North Country Fiddlers from 1 to 3 p.m.
Farmer’s Market coupons will be available for income eligible seniors.
Bring a lawn chair.
There is plenty of parking and the building is handicap accessible.
