Learn how to turn kitchen and yard waste into “black gold” for gardens and landscapes with composting expert Jean Bonhotal, director of the Cornell University Waste Management Institute and Paul Hetzler, an educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County. Farmers, municipal managers and school and institutional staff are encouraged to attend, as Bonhotal will address composting needs of farms and commercial-scale operations.
