BRASHER FALLS -- Registration is underway for the May 23 “Cooter 5K Walk/Run,” held in memory of Kyle Cootware.
The race will start and end at Tri-Town Arena.
The male female winners will each receive a plaque. Medals will be awarded to first place finishers in age groups. Food and drink will be provided.
Entry forms are available at Hair Studio in Potsdam or by emailing sian@slic.com.
Those who sign up by May 8 will be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Cost is $15. Those signing up after May 8 will not be guaranteed a shirt.
Cootware, a St. Lawrence Central student, died in a motocross race in 2009 at age 15.
