NORWOOD – People can learn more about fermented foods, probiotics and “gut health” at a cooking seminar in Norwood from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, sponsored by Local Living Venture and the Potsdam Food Co-op.
The workshop, “Fermented Foods: Making Kimchi & Sauerkraut,” will demonstrate how to create fermented foods such as kimchi and sauerkraut, and illuminate the benefits of fermented foods. It is presented by psychotherapist Ryan Mellon.
Class size is limited so attendees must RSVP for the location in Norwood. Contact LocalLivingVenture@gmail.com or 347-4223. The fee is a suggested donation of $15 per person, $5 for students. Partial scholarships are available upon request.
