NORWOOD -- Local Living Venture will hold a workshop on converting holiday classic baking recipes into healthy whole grain and whole foods from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Presenter Paula M. Youmell will show attendees how to convert their existing baked goods recipes to healthier whole foods, and will also give you fuel to kick the sugar habit. She will share the history of sugar and its impact on individual health as well as the public health costs.
An RSVP is necessary due to limited space availability, with a limit of 15. There is a suggested donation of $22/general public, $40/couple and $10/student.
