The next two North Country Matters Presents: Conversation with Candidates will air Monday, Oct. 15 and Tuesday, Oct. 16 on WCKN, Time Warner Cable Channel 30, at 7:30 p.m., following Peak Moment TV.

The first conversation is with Rep. Bill Owens, the Democrat currently holding the Congressional seat here in the North Country. He sat down in the WCKN studios with Ann Carvill (St. Lawrence County AAUW), Potsdam, William A. Hunt (League of Women Voters of SLC), Canton, and William Wimmer (Editor in Chief, Clarkson Integrator), Potsdam, to discuss issues around the 2012 campaign.

The second Conversation is with Democratic Assembly candidate Joseph Chilelli, a former Herkimer County Legislator who is running for the newly organized 118th District. He sat down with Carvill and Robin McClellan (LWV-SLC), West Stockholm. This half hour segment airs at 8 p.m. on WCKN on Monday and repeats on Tuesday.

Following these two new shows, WCKN will rebroadcast the two shows aired last week. You can watch Amy Tresidder, an Oswego County Legislator and the Democratic candidate for State Senate 48th District, at 8:30 p.m. She will be followed by Republican Assemblyman Marc Butler of the 118th Assembly District at 9 p.m.

In addition, WPBS-TV in Watertown will broadcast the Tresidder and Butler Conversations on Sunday morning, Oct. 14 at 9 a.m. as part of their comprehensive election coverage over the next month. The Owens and Chilelli Conversations will air on Sunday morning, Oct. 21 at 9 a.m. on WPBS. All Conversations are available anytime on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/user/danieledullea#.
