POTSDAM -- Clarkson Professor Sheila Weiss will be speaking at Congregation Beth El Oct. 29, at 2 p.m., about “Political Whitewashing and Personal Refashioning in the Postwar Career of Otmar Freiherr von Verschuer,” a German human geneticist and mentor of the infamous Josef Mengele.
The talk will be followed by a discussion and reception.
