GOUVERNEUR -- The St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging will open a congregate dining center for older adults Monday, Oct. 23.
The location of this new congregate dining center will be the new Gouverneur Community Center, 4673 State Highway 58, just past the hospital.
The site will be open Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Lunch will be served daily at noon.
Any senior citizen 60 and older is welcome to attend daily for a meal and company.
The suggested donation is $3 per meal; however no senior is turned away due to inability to pay.
There is a guest fee of $5 for anyone younger than 60.
